We believe this shift will fundamentally change how financial operations are run.

To support that future, we are building an Agent Runtime Platform: the infrastructure that allows AI agents to perform work safely, reliably, and efficiently at scale across fund management.

This platform will become a foundational capability of the company. It will orchestrate agents, manage long-running workflows, provide visibility into execution, and ensure that work can be delegated with confidence across operational domains.

We are looking for a Staff Engineer to help build it.

The Role

As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical direction and execution of the Agent Runtime Platform.

Your mission is straightforward to describe: create a system capable of running large numbers of AI agents in production while maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence expected of any critical platform.

You will work across the entire lifecycle of the platform, from architecture and execution models to observability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency. Some of the hardest questions are still unanswered, which is exactly why this role exists.

• What should agent execution look like at scale?
• How should agents recover from failures?
• How should long-running work be coordinated?
• How do humans remain in control while delegating increasingly complex tasks?
• How do we ensure agent execution remains cost-efficient, particularly with respect to token usage and model interactions?
• How do we build a platform that can evolve as the capabilities of frontier models continue to improve?
  
  

You will help answer these questions and turn those answers into production systems.

This role operates at company scope. Success requires working across teams, creating alignment, influencing technical decisions, and helping others build on top of the platform.

• Driven technical direction for large initiatives spanning multiple engineers or teams.
• Built alignment across stakeholders with differing priorities.
• Influenced decisions through technical judgment rather than organizational authority.

• Improved the reliability, scalability, and observability of agent execution to support increasingly complex workflows.
