Team and role 🎒
We work on products that we deliver to internal and external customers through different applications that share the same core. In tech/product we are 10+ people across Copenhagen and Aarhus.
We collaborate day-to-day on Slack, Notion and Github. We obsess with maximizing output by utilizing coding agents such as Claude, Codex and Augment.
This is a full-time permanent role as a software engineer. You can work from our locations in either Aarhus or Copenhagen. Our base salary range starts at EUR 80.000 + pension and benefits.

The product and tech team at Embankment work closely together to deliver a world-class platform for fund services. Just as much as we care about technology, we care deeply about our colleagues and always strive to create the best possible work environment.
At least once a week, we enjoy breakfast together at the office. An optional social run is also scheduled every week, where all levels of running or walking are welcome to get a bit of fresh air together.
Social gatherings across the whole company are scheduled every quarter, usually featuring a shared activity followed by a nice dinner. Our Christmas lunch and crayfish party have also become yearly traditions.
Twice a year, the tech and product teams get together in a cozy setting somewhere in Denmark to hack on a project outside the scope of our usual work items. During these offsites, we cook together, do yoga stretches, go for runs or walks, relax in the sauna, or enjoy whatever the location has to offer.

Stack 📟
- Typescript for both frontend and backend
- React for frontend
- Node.js for backend
- Apollo for easily building and accessing a federated graph
- Postgres with TypeORM for for interaction
- Redis for caching and real-time pub/sub
- Gemini, Claude and GPT as LLMs for agentic automation
- Own full-stack problems end-to-end (design → build → ship → iterate)
- Balance speed and correctness (tests, observability, safe rollouts)
- Build AI-powered workflows inside the product (not just internal tooling): integrate LLMs with our systems using evals, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop review where needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders; review PRs and raise the bar for quality
- Strong TypeScript skills; experience with more of our stack is a plus
- You’ve shipped AI features (e.g., LLM tool-calling/RAG/structured outputs) and care about reliability, traceability, and measurable quality
- Curious, pragmatic, and product-minded; high bar for UX
- You like modern tech—and using it to solve real operational problems
