As we continue scaling our operations and legal infrastructure, we’re looking for a strategic, hands-on legal mind to support our growth across content, product, international expansion, and partnerships.
This is the role
Based out of our HQ in Copenhagen, the Senior Legal Counsel will support across all business lines and help ensure legal compliance across all business operations; providing strategic legal guidance and ensuring compliance with the law.
As Senior Legal Counsel, you will:
Act as a legal expert to management and stakeholders across global functions and local markets
Provide guidance across a broad range of areas including contracts, IP, governance, compliance, and more
Structure and negotiate commercial and content-related agreements, and support deal-making across markets and media formats
Play an active role in supporting Podimo’s expansion into new markets, advising on legal requirements, licensing, and compliance
Support the daily operation of our subscription-based streaming service, ensuring we meet applicable regulations and deliver seamless user experiences
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across content, product, marketing, operations, and finance
Help roll out efficient internal legal processes and frameworks
Take a senior, collaborative role in the Legal team - supporting colleagues, mentoring where appropriate, and contributing to a strong, transparent team culture

Manage external counsel relationships and assist with litigation and dispute resolution
This is you
Experience we’re looking for:
Master’s degree in Law
A minimum 7+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced innovative environment such as a tech company, media or production house, or subscription-based business.
Solid experience in contract law, commercial agreements, and intellectual property rights - and you know how to navigate these across business models.
Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks, preferablyin contexts such as digital platforms, streaming services, or content-driven companies.
Confident working closely with senior leadership, offering clear and strategic advice on legal risks and opportunities.
Experience working cross-functionally
Fluent in English. Additional languages (such as Danish) are a plus.
Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support and mentor colleagues - contributing to a positive and collaborative legal function.
Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
