Quantum R&D PIC Engineer

As a rapidly growing early-stage startup, we are looking for a Quantum R&D PIC Engineer to join our team and play a key role in advancing our quantum optics and photonic integrated circuit (PIC) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and model PICs tailored for quantum communication systems.

  • Collaborate closely with our CTO to align quantum optics strategies with Phanofi’s technological roadmap.

  • Lead iterative prototype development cycles, refining experiments and improving system reliability and scalability.

  • Conduct hands-on experiments to push forward our research efforts in quantum optics and build innovative, scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Quantum Optics, Quantum Photonics, or a closely related field.

  • Postdoctoral research experience is a strong plus.

  • Solid track record in experimental quantum optics or photonics, with experience designing and managing complex lab setups.

  • Passion for applying quantum technologies to real-world communication challenges.
