As a key contributor reporting directly to our Head of Legal, you'll be at the forefront of strategic decision-making within our dynamic legal team. The Legal team at Monta is not just a support function; it's a driving force shaping the foundations of how we conduct our business. Your role will be pivotal in influencing decisions related to quality standards, structures, and foundational aspects critical to our development.

Who Are We Looking For?
- Strategic contract development: Lead the creation, expansion, and ownership of our commercial contracts and deals, collaborating closely with sales representatives and product owners.
- Advisory role: Provide advice on ad hoc legal matters and assist as needed in navigating complex regulatory issues pertinent to our contracts. Provide timely and strategic legal advice to support business decisions.
- Contract lifecycle management (CLM): Take full ownership of contract management, working closely with Customer Success to oversee the entire contract lifecycle.
- Sales enablement and training: Train and educate the team on effective negotiation strategies for legal matters within contracts. Actively participate, when necessary, in closing contracts with customers and suppliers. Cultivate a culture of legal awareness and proficiency within the team
- Regulatory compliance: Stay abreast of new regulatory developments relevant to the company and market, providing guidance to proactively manage regulatory risks.
