You will join our Spatial Experience Team, responsible for the MapsIndoors frontend ecosystem, consisting of the JavaScript SDK, web applications, and Content Management System. As part of this team you will share the responsibility for creating exceptional user experiences and robust frontend solutions that serve millions of end-users worldwide.

The role

You will be part of a diverse team with a variety of skills, each contributing to the overall success. Team effort will be a key element of your work day, and as our new team member you will

  • work with a team of highly engaged engineers who take pride in shipping resilient code on time
  • own features from beginning to end, managing complexity, and engaging directly with stakeholders to make sure it’s built right
  • contribute well-tested code to create the best possible user experience for internal teams and external developers building with MapsIndoors products
  • uphold our high standards for engineering and product quality and help your colleagues do the same

Your work includes

  • building features for our web-based MapsIndoors products that have an impact on millions of end-users
  • help some of our world-renowned customers implement MapsIndoors
  • building features for our CMS that have a direct impact on the efficiency of internal teams and external users alike
  • improving our testing processes, architectural considerations, and being the web product champion

Your profile

You have a relevant degree in Web Development and have 3+ years of work experience. Besides your ability to work independently on your own assignments, it is important that you are a team player. We value knowledge sharing and view problem-solving as a collective responsibility, and encourage everyone to seek solutions within the team and help each other out.

On a professional level, we would like you to have experience with

  • JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Web Components, CSS, SCSS
  • Angular and React
  • HTTP and REST interfaces
  • Jest or similar test frameworks
  • Git
  • Scrum (or other agile frameworks)

Other experience that would be a bonus:

  • Mapbox GL JS, Google Maps JS API
  • Being able to drive a feature from the beginning to the end
  • Take the design lead position, write Software Design for features to be developed

On a personal level, you

  • Have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Are keen on learning new technologies, frameworks and ways of working
  • Work both independently and in close collaboration with the teams to ensure we reach our common goals
  • Are innovative and quality-conscious
  • Have a proficient English level
