We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead to oversee and guide our Automation and Machine Learning team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction, driving project execution, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with our strategic objectives.
What you will do
As a Technical Team Lead, you’ll take on a dual role of guiding the engineering team and serving as a technical point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. You will:
- Leadership and Mentorship: Lead a team of automation and ML/backend engineers, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate directly with customers or partners when needed—translating technical requirements, gathering feedback, and ensuring we build solutions that deliver real value.
- Technical Direction: Help define and communicate the technical vision and strategy for automation and ML initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of automation and ML solutions into our products and services.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain high standards of software quality within the team by implementing best practices and conducting regular code reviews.
We imagine you come with
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 years in software development, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role overseeing technical teams.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in backend development or automation, with a strong understanding of machine learning concepts and technologies. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Project Management: Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools, with a track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects.

This position is located in our headquarters in Aalborg where our office space has a beautiful first row view of the Limfjord.
