Senior Digital Marketing Manager
MapsPeople
Hi, I’m Søren Vasø, CMO at MapsPeople
Our team is looking for an experienced marketeer who wants to join a fast-growing publicly traded company. We grew our main product 104% in revenue last year and continue on the same high-growing path this year.
You’ll be part of a marketing team of 8, including 2 BDRs. As the CMO's right hand, you’ll play a pivotal role in executing our marketing strategy and owning our targets. We run an ABM strategy with named accounts for each of the segments we pursue, aiming to generate demand and capture those already in the market. We also do classic demand capture channels like Google, G2, and more. You’ll get a full intro to our strategy before accepting the job.
Who Are You
- Minimum 4 years of marketing experience in international high-ticket SaaS/PaaS.
- A seasoned marketing professional with a passion for technology and innovation.
- Speaks and writes English at a high level
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early scale-up environment.
- Experience in the B2B tech industry. PaaS/SaaS experience will be an advantage.
- Have run paid ad programs before.
- Like to manage multiple channels at once
- Have strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Embrace AI rather than fear it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy execution: Understanding the strategy and helping develop it further as we learn. Execution of it will be co-owned with our CMO, and you are expected to be able to make decisions on where to go.
- Optimizing channels: We look at each channel as something we can turn up, down or kill. We constantly evaluate where to put our money to best use by reporting closely on our activated channels' signals, bottlenecks, and results.
- Manage our paid channels: Take responsibility for our paid ads programs and allocate resources for optimization. We have an agency to help us, but you have to understand its mechanics.
- Content distribution: Have a deep understanding of how to distribute content across channels to maximize the impact of our content development.
- Budget management: Understanding how to report on and allocate budget. This will be owned by our CMO, but you’ll have to provide insights from our channels together with MarketingOps.
- Generating revenue: Partner with the sales team to effectively convert leads/meetings into opportunities and customers. Understand the sales funnel (MQL, SAL, Opps, etc.) and how our channels impact it.
Why the job would fit you:
- We don’t run classic lead gen. We focus much more on high-intent conversions directly to demos and meetings.
- You’ll be the CMO's right-hand on strategy and execution and will be the main driver of our digital marketing efforts.
- You’ll be in a company where marketing owns most pipeline generation, including our BDR team.
- We work account-based and believe in building affinity (or demand) with our market before they enter buying mode.
- We run our website from the Growth Driven Design methodology and work data-driven in building it out.
- Our marketing tech stack includes HubSpot, Webflow, Dreamdata, ZoomInfo, and Figma.
- Our people tech stack includes Slack, Notion, and Confluence.
- You can work from our Aalborg or Copenhagen office (Aalborg is preferred) and have the full flexibility to work from home as well.
What's in it for You
- Opportunity to help scale a company in a fast-growing industry
- Responsibility, tasks and sparring to grow and develop your career.
- International environment and social events across teams and departments.
- Collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Salary in the range of 50-60.000 dkk per month.
