We're looking for a Senior Communications Manager, Asia to join our strong and committed Global Communications team based in Singapore, who is passionate and interested in telling the stories behind the world of work today.
The individual will work alongside the global Communications teams to develop and implement a strategic and impactful communications program to bring LinkedIn’s member and customer value to life for Asia — create awareness of LinkedIn’s value propositions, amplify our global storytelling regionally and ideate on effective news hooks for key priorities, build media relationships, support key consumer and customer launches, build strong messaging and narratives to support media engagement and enable and support the success of local comms teams through strategic planning.
The role offers the opportunity to work on key projects across corporate, consumer, and B2B communications such as product launches and executive engagements, and partner with teams across markets on campaigns and day-to-day communications efforts. This position will have a regional scope, including coordination across 360 communications for APAC during key tentpole moments, with direct responsibility for markets such as Singapore, Indonesia and Japan. The ideal candidate is a versatile communications generalist, preferably with agency experience, who thrives in fast-paced environments. They should be a proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail, able to flex across different areas of the business and oversee a wide range of projects independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive proactive communications programs and initiatives to support broader narratives to drive results for LinkedIn’s member, customer stories.
- Coordinate 360 communications across corporate, consumer, and B2B for APAC as needed during key tentpole moments like global campaigns, product launches, executive engagements, and other high-profile events.
- Manage and oversee media relations efforts across markets such as Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, driving story opportunities and building brand awareness.
- Develop and oversee content creation, including video and other multimedia formats, to support executive visibility and integrated communications strategies in Asia.
- Partner with external agencies to drive impact and results.
- Drive and develop communications messaging and Q&A documents for announcements, launches, and broader cross-functional efforts.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams locally and internationally.
- Work closely with local and regional teams to ensure that all communications align with LinkedIn’s broader global strategy while being adapted for local relevance.
- Manage and build relationships with journalists in efforts to build story and brand opportunities for LinkedIn.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related experience AND 2 years of experience in External Communications
- 5+ years experience focused on servicing the tech sector in the social media space
- 4+ years experience in external communications
- 3+ years of experience supporting senior executives
- B.S./B.A in Broadcast Journalism/Communications / PR / English
- Proven senior stakeholder exposure/management
- Strong understanding of business and media environment, particularly in consumer brands and/or consumer technology brands
- Demonstrates strong and clear executive presentation skills
- Experience in collaborating with different teams throughout the region / globe
- Strong and clear communication and presentation skills to leadership level audiences (able to clearly articulate complex dependencies, solutions and communications strategies)
- Able to drive strategy as well as tactical execution, analyze performance, solve complex problems and drive results
- Loves to capitalize on new growth opportunities to scale businesses through a structured, curious, audience-first and data-driven approach
- Proactive and resourceful attitude, independently taking initiative and leadership
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and unstructured, deadline-oriented environment
