Job Description

LinkedIn Talent Solutions is searching for an experienced Associate Events and Field Marketing Manager with expertise in building and executing B2B customer marketing programs, specifically events. This person will design, plan and execute events and other marketing programmes for our critical customers and prospects in Japan in the Talent (HR) industry.

Partnering with regional (APAC) and global field marketing teams, regional product marketing and content teams to activate the strategy in line with our objectives and plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with execution and implementation of our customer and prospect marketing efforts to engage and accelerate business growth through the adoption of additional products to support their Talent strategies.

This role is critical to drive greater growth and success in Japan, whilst being a part of a collaborative and engaging APAC team culture.

Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of the Local Japan and Regional Field Marketing Strategy:

  • Program management: Plan and execute our key initiatives for our markets including Flagship Events (Roadshow), Account Based Marketing, Executive Engagement and our Content program.
  • Results: Forecast, monitor and track results of marketing activity to inform future plans and activities. Analyse campaign results across APAC to ensure objectives are being met, inform stakeholders and support the planning process.
  • Sales enablement: Managing and communicating effectively with our main sales stakeholders spanning Enterprise, Mid-Market and Staffing teams and their direct managers. Ensuring that the sales teams have the right cadence and level of information to be able to execute our marketing activity successfully with their customers. Coordination with cross functional partners e.g. insights, customer success, sales ops - to ensure we are aligned.
  • Customer Stories: Create impactful and engaging customer stories that engage our prospects and customers and provide evidence to support our sales team to drive solution awareness and support growth ambitions.
  • Content: Work with the regional content creation teams to take content and reports to market, support the creation of localised version for Japan, and support promotion and amplification of content across the marketing programs.
  • Strategy and planning: Support strategy and planning efforts in core markets and marketing functions.
  • Regional and global campaigns: Work closely with the regional and global customer marketing teams to leverage programmes, content and campaigns to make them impactful and relevant for our target audience. This includes providing feedback on the plans, sourcing customers to feature and creating and executing plans to deliver to customers.
  • Target Account Marketing: Create unique opportunities for our key accounts and ensure that our target accounts are prioritised for our core activations and opportunities.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 + years of B2B marketing experience heavily focused on customer acquisition and nurturing existing customers to grow existing customer spend in Japan.
  • Minimum 2+ years in Event management and production (virtual and in person) in Japan.
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Japanese and English


Preferred Experience

  • Strong communicator and collaboration skills across multiple markets, teams and functions.
  • Data analysis and interpretation capability.
  • Proven effective partnership with sales teams and other cross functionals.
  • Understanding of different marketing functions and internal cross functional partners with experience from a matrix organisation.
  • Experience creating and implementing successful marketing campaigns strategies.
  • Content management and Account-based marketing experience a plus.
  • Passionate about customer (external) and sales (internal) needs. Understanding their challenges and turning them into impactful marketing strategies and activations.
  • Proactive and agile: Independently capable of seeking information in an unstructured environment, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering timely results in challenging situations.
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments.
