Job Description

This role will be based in Mountain View.

The LinkedIn Global Revenue team’s charter is to enable the business to achieve more, enabling revenue growth with scalable, compliant solutions. Committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible, we are seeking a Senior Revenue Analyst to join our Revenue Global Initiatives team. This role will report to the Director, Revenue, Global Initiatives and be instrumental in collaborating across different teams to drive our key revenue processes that align with our long-term vision.

A successful candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, a growth mindset, and a positive attitude. Having the ability to adapt to change and shift priorities quickly while maintaining accuracy will be key for this role. While focusing on details, this candidate can consider the big picture and make recommendations for compliant processes that support LinkedIn’s future growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute Revenue Rhythm of Business (ROB) via insightful analytics and clear communication.
  • Facilitate our different Scorecard processes, ensuring we have the right metrics in place and in the right forums to assess the health and progress of our business.
  • Work cross functionally with our central compliance teams to regularly evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Participate in cross-team initiatives focused on operational workflow improvements and efficiencies by incorporating business partner and team feedback and industry best practices.
  • Perform accounting close duties, including financial systems user access reviews, journal entry threshold reviews, and SOX documentation.
  • Identify and leverage technology to automate and innovate internal processes.
  • Complete ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field of study
  • 5+ years accounting, compliance/ audit, or finance experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Excel skills (e.g.,, PivotTable and VLOOKUP)
  • Technical revenue accounting knowledge of US GAAP and specifically ASC 606
  • Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organizations, and creating effecting partnerships; ability to make the complex simple
  • A versatile and driven team player with the ability to build relationships while executing on deliverables
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to simultaneously drive numerous projects, and adapt to business process changes

The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
