Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to person for all cost and budget-related questions, ensuring transparency and clarity across the business.
  • Lead cost forecasting, budgeting, and cost governance, while continuously improving related models and processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, drive, and track cost optimization and assess new investment initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and People Operations to ensure accurate, transparent financial and employee-related data.
  • Deliver clear and actionable reporting to executive leadership, both on a recurring basis as well as ad hoc.
  • Foster a culture of cost awareness, ownership, and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications

We value diverse experiences and backgrounds. While not all qualifications are mandatory, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher), preferably in Business/Finance, and 1-2 years of experience in a Financial or Business role
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, and budgeting and forecasting practices
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting
  • Familiarity with Power BI and/or Tableau, as well as Netsuite (or other ERP systems) is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The Team

You will serve as the right hand on cost and budget inquiries for the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and the CFO, collaborating closely with the Accounting team and Lenus leaders to foster financial transparency and accountability. In the FP&A team we believe in a culture of teamwork, cooperation, and continuous learning, where your ideas and contributions will be highly valued. Our team takes pride in delivering straightforward solutions to complex financial matters, and we encourage open communication and fresh perspectives to drive our success.

Also, you will be part of the larger Finance function of 30 FTE's, consisting of FP&A, Legal & Compliance, Accounting, Strategic Business Partnering, and Advanced Analytics and Automation. We are a dynamic group of people with 13 different nationalities, joined by a shared vision to build one of the best modern finance functions in Denmark. We prioritize monthly team activities such as sports, dinners, boat trips, ski trips, SUP, padel, morning runs etc.
