Lenus is looking for a Legal Counsel for our Copenhagen office

We're looking for a proactive Junior Legal Counsel who can thrive in a fast-paced, global, data-driven company. Who are we looking for?

Responsibilities

• Assist the rest of the team to identify, assess, and advise on legal risk with a “less legal more people” mindset.
• Research legal issues related to AI, privacy, consumer protection legislation, and much more depending on Lenus' needs!
• Manage a substantial volume of commercial contracts, making adjustments to our templates as needed. You'll often collaborate with our enthusiastic sales team, who have high expectations and tight deadlines.
• Work with the rest of the team to identify and implement the newest legal tech.

Qualifications

• You are a recent Cand.merc.(jur.) or Cand.jur., graduate with up to one year of relevant experience.
• You have a strong interest in privacy regulations, such as the GDPR, and IT law, including relevant EU regulations.
• Some experience drafting and negotiating IT contracts is a plus.
• You have a go-getter, optimistic attitude, a desire to learn quickly, and you're ready to contribute to Lenus' success from day one.
• You have a pragmatic approach to creative legal problem-solving, including researching novel and ambiguous legal areas.
• The ideal candidate should be comfortable with routine tasks and effectively handling the fast-paced demands of internal stakeholders.
• You appreciate autonomy and flexibility in your work, and enjoy the option to join a yoga class in the morning or play padel in the afternoon.
