With offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus, and London, Kvantify collaborates with leading institutions and companies to push the boundaries of computational science and accelerate the development of new therapeutics.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Business Development to join our commercial team in either Aarhus or Copenhagen.
The primary responsibilities of this role include expanding Kvantify's client base, driving adoption of our computer-aided drug discovery platform, Koffee, and our recently launched quantum product for quantum chemistry calculations, Qrunch, and growing revenue from our software solutions for pharma, biotech, and life science companies. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring they receive the best solutions for their needs, and ultimately driving long-term revenue growth through premium agreements based on our technology, services, and collaborations.

In your role, you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Kvantify's technology and services, research initiatives, science and technology collaborations, and long-term vision
  • Create a strategic plan to achieve Kvantify's revenue objectives and targets with particular focus on pharma, biotech, and life science sectors in Europe and North America
  • Manage complex business development cycles, including contract negotiations, collaborations, and partnerships, and drive Kvantify's expansion in new and existing markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, particularly within the pharma and biotech companies
  • Coordinate with Kvantify's technical specialists and application scientists to support software evaluations, proof-of-concept studies, and client onboarding
  • Generate and manage new and renewal proposals, track business opportunities, and maintain data in our CRM system, Pipedrive
  • Produce regular revenue forecast and performance updates to the founder team
  • Represent Kvantify at scientific conferences, industry events, and other networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and business development efforts

Ideally, these are your competencies:

  • Business-level English proficiency
  • PhD or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Biophysics, Computer Science, or a related scientific field
  • A deep understanding of CADD technologies and/or quantum chemistry
  • Extensive experience (+10 years) in business development or commercial leadership, ideally within the pharma, biotech, or CRO sectors
  • Strong background and experience working with CADD, cheminformatics, or related computational approaches to drug discovery or quantum chemistry
  • Proven ability to grow business for highly specialized products and collaborations
  • Experience managing high-value business development cycles and contract negotiations in the life science industry
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

What does Kvantify offer:

  • A chance to join a fast-growing TechBio company working at the intersection of quantum computing and drug discovery
  • Flexible working arrangements, competitive compensation, equity options, health insurance, pension contributions, and generous leave policies
  • Offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen -- remote options considered for strong candidates
