About Klimate- Our CO₂ asset management platform allows companies to actively secure high-quality carbon removal solutions, turning a carbon liability into future assets.
- We strategically finance carbon removal projects based on environmental responsibility as well as social and economic development.
- Our core purpose is to scale and accelerate the development of carbon removal methods and technologies needed to reverse climate change.

As our new Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a key role in growing our customer base and accelerating the adoption of high-quality carbon removal. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our prospects – sparking interest, identifying needs, and qualifying leads for the sales team. You’ll be in charge of building and nurturing a steady pipeline of potential clients and partners.
You will be part of the commercial team and report directly to Tristan Boevé, our Head of Sales.
Tasks:
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers (Outreach via calls, LinkedIn, trade fairs and inbound follow-up).
- Engage with leads through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to initiate meaningful conversations.
- Collaborate with the rest of the sales team to develop and execute targeted strategies to convert leads into qualified opportunities and new clients.
- Build and maintain a strong lead pipeline, track progress, and provide regular updates to the sales management team.
- Work closely with marketing to align sales and marketing efforts, providing feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
Must-have skills & experience:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex climate solutions to various stakeholders.
- Proactive and persistent – you enjoy reaching out, following up, and opening doors with new prospects.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and keeping pipelines organized.
- Curious and quick learner, especially when it comes to climate tech and emerging carbon removal solutions.
The ideal candidate:
- Early in your career and looking to grow in a commercial role within the climate space.
- Excited about sustainability and motivated by the impact carbon removal can have on the planet.
- Enjoys talking to people, building relationships, and isn’t afraid of cold outreach.
- Thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, where things change quickly and initiative is valued.
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) Copenhagen – we work together in person most days, with flexibility.
We will be conducting interviews on an ongoing basis, and hire when we find the right candidate. We are looking for this position to start ASAP.
