What does a successful Solutions Engineer do at Keepit?

As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be at the cutting edge of SaaS data protection, collaborating with a dynamic global team. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping our product and guiding customers through advanced data protection and cyber threat recovery strategies.

Essential functions:

  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations both virtually and in person.
  • Manage and implement Proof of Concepts (POCs) to ensure successful technical closure.
  • Maintain Salesforce cadence with meticulous documentation.
  • Support lead-generation initiatives, including events, webinars, and user groups.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise on data protection through independent consultation with Keepit’s customers.
  • Partner with the sales team to secure new clients and partners.
  • Work closely with Product Management to relay customer feedback and insights.
  • Offer pre-sales support to customers evaluating Keepit's backup solution.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Confident in delivering technical and business presentations to varied audiences, ranging from small groups to large, high-level stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with OEM, Channel, and Vendor ecosystems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment as a motivated self-starter.
  • Strong time management skills are essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple decision-makers to drive proposal outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel 50-75%.
We are looking for……
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in sales engineering or technical sales (pre-sales experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure (Power PI, Power Apps, DevOps, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365, including Exchange, OneDrive, Groups, Teams, SharePoint, and Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with other cloud-based SaaS applications is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Industry-recognized certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of MEDDIC or MEDPICC methodologies is beneficial.
