Role description

Hymeth is in a strong growth phase, and we are now looking for an experienced Business Controller to join our team. You will play a key role in shaping the financial function and will have broad responsibilities with significant ownership.

As Business Controller, you will report to, as well as work closely with, our CEO. You will act as an important partner in tracking project performance, analysing results and supporting decision-making. You will be part of the management team and provide financial insights and material that support both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

You will continue setting up processes and tools for financial analysis and follow-up and work closely with engineers and project managers. Your responsibilities include monitoring project profitability, monthly and quarterly reporting, cash-flow analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. You will also work with applications for public funding and reporting to authorities.

You are responsible for the financial statement, group accounting and reporting and will collaborate regularly with our external accounting firm, auditors, bank and owners.

Your profile

You hold a degree in business administration or equivalent, with solid accounting knowledge and several years of experience in a controller role. Experience from a project-oriented engineering or manufacturing companies is highly valuable. You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken. You are an advanced Excel user and can present financial information in a clear, structured, and accessible way.

Most importantly, you have a strong interest in understanding how the business works—its projects, technology, and overall operations—and can translate financial analysis into concrete recommendations that support the company’s continued growth.
