What will you do?
You will drive Fidabio’s sales efforts within Germany and nearby regions, focusing on life sciences, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies. You will co-develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the market presence, engage with prospective clients, and provide tailored biophysical solutions that meet their unique needs. This role is pivotal in fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring a strong presence for Fidabio’s products in the industry.
I. What are the key responsibilities?
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Co-Develop, implement, and lead a sales strategy for Germany that aligns with Fidabio’s growth objectives.
- Identify and target potential clients in biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic sectors, focusing on laboratories and research facilities utilizing biophysical and protein characterization techniques.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, contributing to Fidabio's market penetration and revenue goals.
2.Client Relationship Management:
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders, including scientists, researchers, procurement teams, and lab managers.
- Engage in consultative sales by understanding client challenges, requirements, and opportunities where FIDA technology adds value.
- Act as a primary contact, managing all aspects of the customer experience, from initial engagement to post-sale support.
3.Technical Sales & Product Presentation:
- Deliver in-depth technical presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the advantages and applications of FIDA technology in real-world scenarios.
- Stay current on FidaBio's technology developments to convey relevant updates to customers.
- Collaborate with the technical support and R&D teams to ensure accurate and effective product knowledge transfer.
4.Market Analysis & Expansion:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities within Germany.
- Gather feedback from clients to relay back to FidaBio’s product and development teams for ongoing improvement and innovation.
- Attend and represent FidaBio at industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to increase brand visibility and network with potential customers.
5.Pipeline & Sales Administration:
- Maintain a structured pipeline of prospects and customers within CRM tools, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of sales activities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, detailing achievements, challenges, and strategic adjustments.
II. Qualifications:
- Experience:
- An interest for sales within the life sciences or biotech sector, with experience in biophysics, protein characterization as a requirement – It can be from academia.
2.Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biophysics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field; advanced degree (MSc or PhD) is preferred.
3.Skills & Competencies:
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with strong consultative sales abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to a varied audience.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic market.
- Strong proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
4.Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for scientific innovation.
- Strong relationship-building abilities and a customer-focused mindset. Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally to other European regions.
