Imagine working closely with leading manufacturers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland — helping them improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and make better decisions using real-time production data.

As Senior Account Manager – DACH, you’ll play an important role in expanding Factbird’s presence in the region. You won’t just be selling software — you’ll be building long-term partnerships and helping customers unlock meaningful operational improvements.

The Role

You will take ownership of our commercial activities across the DACH region — both developing new opportunities and strengthening existing partnerships.

You’ll guide customers through the entire journey: from understanding their challenges, to demonstrating value, to supporting long-term collaboration and growth.

This role is about partnership, not pressure. You’ll work closely with production managers, engineers, and operational leaders to understand their reality and help them move forward with clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with manufacturing companies across DACH
  • Identify new opportunities through structured outreach and networking
  • Conduct thoughtful needs analyses to understand operational challenges
  • Lead tailored product demonstrations focused on real business value
  • Manage commercial discussions and guide agreements with transparency
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the partnership
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams
  • Maintain structured CRM documentation and pipeline visibility

About You

You’re relationship-oriented, structured, and commercially confident.

You enjoy understanding how businesses operate and asking the right questions before proposing solutions. You build trust naturally and communicate clearly — whether speaking with engineers on the shop floor or senior leadership.

You take ownership of your region and are motivated by long-term impact rather than short-term wins.

If you have experience in manufacturing or industrial sales, that’s fantastic. If you’ve worked in adjacent technical B2B environments and are curious to learn more about production intelligence, we’d still love to hear from you.


Requirements

  • Experience in full-cycle B2B sales, ideally within manufacturing or industrial sectors
  • Strong understanding of production or operational environments
  • Proven track record of closing and growing accounts
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot is a plus)
  • Familiarity with structured sales approaches (MEDDIC, SPIN, or similar)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
