The Opportunity
We are looking for a mission-driven Chief Commercial Officer who believes proteomics will be a defining pillar of healthcare and can see themselves leading the change to make it real—from research labs to regulated clinical settings.
You will own Sales and Customer Success/Service, scale a high-performing global field organization, and forge strategic alliances across the Life Science Tools ecosystem to accelerate adoption of Evosep workflows. You’ll partner tightly with Product Management, R&D, Marketing, Operations, and our Proteomics Research, Dx, and Pharma teams to translate market needs into winning products, services, and partnerships.
What You’ll Do
Own the global commercial strategy

Set the multi-year commercial strategy and annual operating plans (bookings, pipeline coverage, pricing, and channel mix) across EMEA, AMER, and APAC.

Design the segmentation, value propositions, and commercial playbooks for research proteomics, biopharma cohorts, and emerging clinical/diagnostics use cases with vertical leaders and Product Management.
Build and lead a worldclass go-to-market organization

Recruit, develop, and inspire a senior leadership bench across Sales, Customer Success/Service, and Sales Operations; establish a rigorous, datadriven cadence (forecast, QBR/MBR, enablement, and performance management).

Standardize sales methodology and deal governance to drive consistency and win rates, while ensuring technical depth in customer engagements.
Accelerate market adoption through partnerships

Initiate and manage strategic alliances with instrument OEMs, reagent and sample prep leaders, CROs, and KOL sites; codevelop programs that pull through Evosep workflows at scale.
Represent Evosep

Act as an external evangelist—on stage, in the field, and with press/analysts—to advance the proteomics category and Evosep’s role within it.
Operate cross-functionally for impact

Work closely with R&D, Marketing, Proteomics Research, Dx, Pharma, and Operations to ensure portfolio readiness for research and translational research markets and to deliver an excellent customer experience, end-to-end.
What You’ll Achieve (6–12 Months)

Define and launch a 3-year commercial strategy and organization design aligned to company goals and board expectations.

Establish a repeatable enterprise sales motion and technical engagement model; lift win rates and sales cycle speed through standardized methodology and enablement.

Build a tier1 partner ecosystem (instrument OEMs, KOL centers, and service providers) that drives category expansion and qualified pipeline.

Deliver measurable revenue growth and expansion in key accounts; set up post-sales success programs to increase adoption, retention, and reference.
Qualifications
Must have
-
15+ years in Life Science tools or adjacent markets with at least 7 years leading global, multi-region sales organizations; proven track record owning commercial P&L and scaling from tens to hundreds of millions in revenue.

A mission orientation toward proteomics—clear conviction (and narrative) for how proteomics changes research, drug development, and diagnostics; able to inspire customers, partners, and internal teams.

Deep network across the Life Science tools ecosystem (instrumentation, reagents, CROs, KOL sites) and a history of creating high-impact strategic alliances.

Excellence in enterprise selling and solution storytelling; comfortable engaging at C-suite level and in technical/scientific depth.

Builder mindset: organizational design, hiring, enablement, comp plans, and datadriven operating rhythms.
Nice to have

Background in proteomics, mass spectrometry, or protein-based diagnostics; advanced degree in life sciences or business is a plus.

Experience taking workflows from research into regulated environments (e.g., LDTs, Dx collaborations).

Practicalities

Location: Odense, Denmark (preferred) or Remote (Europe).

Travel: Global customer and partner travel as needed (estimate 30–40%).

Compensation: Competitive package including base, bonus/commission, and equity (tailored to experience).
