We’re looking for a driven and experienced Scientist to join our Proteomics Research team in Odense in a maternity cover. Are you ready to shape the future of clinical proteomics and make a real impact? Then this could be the next exciting step in your career.
In this pivotal role, you’ll contribute to the daily operations and strategic development of cutting-edge proteomics solutions. You’ll collaborate with a team of dedicated experts and use your deep knowledge within proteomics to advance research that benefits both the scientific community and our customers.
What We Do
Evosep aims to improve quality of life and patient care by radically innovating protein based clinical diagnostics. Making sample preparation and separation before MS analysis 10 times faster and 100 times more robust will enable truly large cohort studies for biomarker validation and provide the foundation for precision medicine.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Maintain instrument operation in a state-of-the art proteomics facility.

Develop and apply high-throughput methodologies for automated sample preparation workflows.

Ensure quality of data generation to demonstrate feasibility for clinical proteomics.

Prepare application notes and other collateral to position Evosep technology.

Assist with training to support the commercial teams in pre- and post-sales activities.

Keep up to date with new proteomics methodologies and instrumentation.

Participate in projects and deliver on timelines.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should also ideally bring:

An M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Analytical Sciences, Biochemistry or related fields with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the proteomics/mass spectrometry or tech industry.

3 years of hands-on experience with LC-MS instrumentation for proteomics.

The ability to critically evaluate data and consider experimental design.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This includes both writing and presentation skills, as well as being great at collaborating with others.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to continuously meet deadlines.

Experience with automation and robotics would be considered a benefit.
