The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for pharma contract research organizations and will be a brand champion for our innovative LC-MS/MS based separations platform for proteomics, the Evosep One.

Key tasks and responsibilities
- Assist BD leadership in further developing Evosep’s strategic direction and accelerate growth in non-academic markets.
- Target and secure new pharma contract services (CRO) accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Nurture existing account relationships by ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Share market insights with the organization.
- Enable the organization to achieve revenue and unit volume targets.
- Organizational mapping to uncover decision makers.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and organizational stakeholders (technical and commercial teams), closely collaborating and prioritizing adjacent workflow opportunities.
- Plan and prepare presentations and proposals addressing client's pain points.
- Collaborate effectively with legal, finance, regulatory, marketing, and scientific teams.
Qualifications

For this role, the following qualifications would also be preferable:
- Bachelor’s degree in the sciences required with a minimum of five years’ experience serving LC – MS/MS laboratories, in a market development, business development, corporate strategy, or sales role serving the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. (MBA or MSc degree a plus).
- Prior experience in a CRO or serving a CRO customer base is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of the drug discovery and development process.
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Expertise with LC-MS/MS based proteomics workflows (i.e., biomarker discovery, biomarker validation…etc.) is a plus.
- Ability and interest to contribute across the organization; flexibility to accept and contribute to critical projects outside of business development.
- This is a remote role that can be located anywhere within Western and Central Europe or East Coast United States, with the ability and willingness to travel up to 50% (consistently around 30% will be more common).
