The power grid is changing faster than the software running it. Renewables are flooding supply, prices swing wildly, and millions of EV batteries sit idle on driveways every night, completely disconnected from the markets that need them most. Enkel is the platform that closes that gap.

We integrate directly with energy markets and connect distributed EV assets to the grid - turning idle batteries into a network. For consumers, that means lower bills and earnings from their car. For grid operators, it means distributed flexibility at scale, without building a single new power plant.

We are looking for a Head of Finance to own the entire function - the books, the budget, the board reporting - and the operational machinery that keeps a fast-growing company running. This is a broad role: hands-on where it counts and strategic where it matters. You will be our entire finance function, and by design a team of one - full ownership, full autonomy, and a seat at the table.

What you will do

• Own the finance function end to end: day-to-day accounting, monthly close, VAT and payroll, and the annual report together with our auditor
• Build and own the company budget, rolling cash-flow forecast, and runway model - the numbers the whole company steers by
• Prepare financial reporting for the board and investors
• Support the leadership team with strategic projects
• Implement the systems, controls and processes that let finance and operations scale with fast growth

What you bring

• Solid experience in accounting or finance - perhaps from audit, or as a controller who has owned a full monthly close
• A firm grasp of Danish accounting, taxes and payroll; IFRS knowledge preferred
• Ability to build budgets and forecasts and scenario analysis
• You are as comfortable processing invoices as preparing numbers for the board
