Software Engineering is the cornerstone of our work. We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team in Copenhagen.

The Opportunity:

Software Engineering at Dawn Health is at the core of everything we do. Within the first months of your employment, you will participate in training programs giving you the knowledge to develop digital health solutions (such as Medical Device Software). Digital Health is a rapidly growing industry within healthcare, and new regulatory frameworks in the EU and US continuously raises the bar for the safety and efficacy that can be demonstrated by such digital solutions.

As a MedTech Developer, you will get to work on products that help patients around the world and collaborate with other passionate software engineers to bring the most intuitive and useful digital therapies and apps to life.

Furthermore, you will be working on one of our most ambitious products with a global reach from which you will be part of a newly established product team. Thus, the smell of the newly created code repositories is still fresh.

About You:

• You are passionate about building great products that have a real impact on people's lives
• You have strong analytical abilities and can break down complex problems
• You have strong communication skills and can work well in a team
• You have a structured approach and understand the importance of high-quality documentation
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Professional proficiency in English (company language)

The Requirements:

• Experience with React and NextJS or similar frameworks
• Strong proficiency in HTML5 semantics and accessibility
• Strong proficiency in CSS3 and working with responsive design and mobile optimization
• Strong proficiency in Javascript development and ES6 syntax
• Experience consuming and/or configuring REST APIs
• Experience with git and Github
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest or similar

Bonus Points:

• You may have experience working in the Life Science industry
• Experience with Identity providers (e.g. Auth0, Azure B2C)
• Experience with TypeScript or similar typed JS superset
• Experience with SCSS or other CSS extension language
• Experience with Umbraco and/or Strapi
• Experience writing integration and UI tests
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with CI tools and setting up build pipelines
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (our preferred Cloud provider)
• Experience with .Net Core
• Experience with web analytics
