Join us as our new Site Excellence Manager at Arpajon, France.

As a Site Excellence Manager, you will take the lead in implementing Novonesis' improvement methodology (Go for Excellence). You will be responsible for ensuring that processes are continually evaluated and optimized while also training and coaching others. Your efforts will play a crucial role in achieving ambitious stretch targets in Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Capacity, and Decoupling cost from Growth.

Welcome to the Arpajon Site Leadership team.

We are a team of eight individuals responsible for steering all operational and strategic decisions for the manufacturing site. Arpajon serves as both an industrial site and a distribution center, playing a key role in the production network that delivers biosolutions for the dairy industry. More than 150 dedicated employees work together to produce bulk and finished goods, ensuring timely distribution to our B2B customers.

In This Role You Will Make An Impact By

  • Drive performance by leading major improvement projects and other strategic initiatives to deliver measurable and impactful results.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving through effective training and coaching.
  • Support continuous improvement and standardization efforts in close collaboration with the site Leadership Team.
  • Facilitate the strategy deployment and governance process to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, working closely with the Head of Plant.
  • Actively contribute as a member of the global network of excellence partners, sharing best practices and driving innovation.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • An academic background, Bachelor of Science in biology, chemical or industrial engineering or a related field Greenbelt/Blackbelt certification
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in operational excellence
  • Display strong organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated comprehensive use of Lean principles.
  • Demonstrated skills of interacting with senior leadership and influencing organizations without formal authority.
  • Ability to coach and challenge senior leadership in Lean principles. Strong workshop facilitator and ability to communicate with influence.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience in managing and executing large-scale continuous improvement projects.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, and process mapping

Please note: This is an onsite role based at our Arpajon site with flexibility to work from home.
