Welcome to Biopharma Processing Aids Venture

As part of the Biopharma Processing Aids Venture, you will join a team dedicated to executing Novonesis explorative growth strategy by identifying and developing long-term opportunities beyond our core business. You will work closely with colleagues in the Venture, R&D, Regulatory, IP, Legal and Business Development, as well as external partners, CROs/CMOs and key opinion leaders.

In This Role You’ll Make An Impact By

You will drive technical development of key Venture projects to unlock new growth opportunities for Novonesis. You will contribute to identifying technical gaps in the market and strategic assessments of new opportunities. Your efforts will play a pivotal role in driving the Venture forward by defining and executing the technical strategy, and lead projects from conception to completion.

Some Of Your Key Tasks Will Include

• Driving innovation strategy in a corporate venture setting, combining cutting edge science and application understanding with customer needs to deliver high impact solutions.
• Leading and coordinating cross-functional development across R&D, legal, IP and regulatory.
• Acting as Project Lead from early scoping to execution.
• Managing external collaborations with partners, CROs/CMOs and industry experts.
• Communicating technical insights effectively.
  
  

You will collaborate with both internal and external colleagues, leveraging on-site working to ensure seamless coordination and knowledge sharing across teams. Occasional travel days will be required for conferences and partner visits.

To Succeed You Must Hold

• MSc or PhD in biotech, biopharma or pharma sciences
• 7+ years of experience within pharma development (R&D or CMC).
• Deep understanding of oligonucleotides therapeutics is considered as a strong advantage.
• Understanding regulatory considerations in Biopharmaceutical context is considered an advantage.
• Strong project management track record
• Experience with stakeholder management both internal and external
• Expert level English
  
  

Additionally, we expect you to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex scientific topics into clear, accessible insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience managing external collaborations and/or partnerships will be highly valued.
