You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead the regional regulatory activities and deliverables in support of product innovation projects, PMT work and business/sales/customers
- Regional regulatory expert in relevant FBB segment(s) and go-to person for regulatory matters for the specific region
- Ensure compliance and safety of products across markets and product categories in the specific region
- A trusted advisor towards regional business (trust-based, strong relationships)
- Work closely with regional business/sales securing regulatory support in a proactive manner being part of the solution we sell
- Understand the customers regulatory needs via interfaces to account manager and customer
- Identify opportunities to proactively service the customer with regulatory guidance/in-sights
- Connect with customer and deliver regulatory contributions as a trusted advisor and hereby build regulatory to regulatory relationship with the customer side
- Prioritize, define advocacy strategies and execution plans for impact guided/endorsed by business
- Secure seamless interfaces with GRACY (within RAPS) and regional PA for impactful advocacy
- Represent NVS in relevant trade-organization, partnerships and alliances providing regulatory platforms advocating for FBB positions and executing of plans for impact.
- Master Degree in Natural Science, Food Engineer, Pharmacist, Nutritionist or related areas
- Advanced English is needed. Abilities in Spanish is desirable
- Expert in Latam Food Law, with experience in food industries.
- Good knowledge on Latam food regulations and claims.
- Ability to monitor and influence external forces to ensure the company’s interests are maintained.
- In depth knowledge of regulatory environment and how it affects food ingredients and the company’s process and products.
- Ability to understand and interpret regulatory requirements and devise and implement procedures for communication and compliance.
- Being Novonesis representative in trade associations work in collaboration with the team sitting in Latam and Public Affairs.
