About The Team
Join Novonesis in a key strategic pillar of our business. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our newly established, senior account management team for the Central and Eastern European region. This 8-person team was created following the takeover of DSM enzymes and plays a crucial role in our market success. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Sales CEE.
What You Will Do
Your primary focus will be on commercial execution and driving strong customer relationships across countries including Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Bosnia. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Delivering on assigned commercial targets and taking proactive accountability for the business.
- Driving sales growth and effectively managing the opportunity pipeline.
- Developing and maintaining robust relationships with customers and managing distributors.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and technical teams, working particularly closely with the dedicated technical salesperson for the region.
What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you should be a persistent, adaptable, and collaborative professional who operates with the highest level of honesty and integrity. We are looking for:
- Substantial experience in a similar commercial role is required.
- A strong background in animal nutrition (feed, feed additives, or premix with enzyme experience) or animal health.
- Specific expertise in monogastric animals (preference over ruminant; please note that aqua, pet, or equine backgrounds are not suitable for this role).
- A general educational background in Agriculture, Animal Production, or Animal Nutrition (no PhD or MSc required).
- Fluency in English and the primary language spoken in your territory. Additional European languages are a strong plus.

- They need to be proactive and take accountability and responsibility for owning the business.
- They should work with honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
Ways Of Working & Compensation
- Setup: This is a fully home- and field-based role. The individual can be based in Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece or in countries such as Poland, where we have legal entities.
- Travel: Expect to travel up to 50% of the time to support customers within the territory and for other business needs.
- Salary: We offer a competitive base salary/package
