Partnering & Technology (P&T) is part of the global Intellectual Property & Licensing (IP&L) function. We help the business create value by optimizing and securing terms related to intellectual property (IP) within partnership, licensing, and R&D collaboration agreements.

You will join a global team of experienced colleagues who support scientific and commercial innovation through strategic agreements and IP frameworks. We collaborate closely with Legal Business Partners and work together with stakeholders from R&D and Business functions to secure agreements that create a sound foundation for successful innovation with external partners. You will experience a highly engaged and supportive team culture where we help each other succeed, share knowledge openly, and collaborate across industry areas and geographies. In This Role You’ll Make An Impact By

• Lead and contribute to the negotiation, preparation, and review of partnership and technology license agreements.
• Advise R&D and business stakeholders on agreement structures that best support strategic and project goals.
• Drive robust and balanced IP ownership and exploitation terms to ensure our collaboration frameworks support impactful scientific and commercial outcomes.
• Deliver training sessions on IP, agreements, and good collaboration practices.
• Support IP‑related aspects when using standard agreements.
• Contribute to royalty verification, IP analyses, due diligence, or litigation support.
  
  

To Succeed You Must Hold

• BSc or MSc in natural sciences – PhD or MBA is a plus but not required
• Hands-on experience working in an innovation-driven environment (5+ years – preferably with exposure to collaboration agreements and IP-related work)
• Strong motivation to work at the intersection of science, IP, and business strategy
• Excellent communication skills and professional proficiency in English
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and engage constructively with a wide range of stakeholders.
