Your Key Responsibilities In This Role

  • Regulatory responsible for Animal Biosolutions products (feed enzymes and probiotics) and pipeline across Central American countries, with special focus on Mexico.
  • Manage product registrations, renewals, and amendments before Mexican regulatory authorities (SENASICA/SADER).
  • Implement regulatory strategies for new products in the portfolio (enzymes and microorganisms based products)
  • Prepare, review, and submit technical dossiers, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Assess regulatory impacts of changes in formulations, raw materials, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing sites.
  • Review and approve labeling, claims, and technical/commercial materials in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the regulatory focal point with R&D, Quality, Production, Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain teams.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in Mexican Animal Health legislation, assessing risks and opportunities for the business.
  • Support regulatory audits and inspections, ensuring compliance and maintenance of the registered portfolio.
  • Ensure maintenance of the regulatory status of products and continuity of commercialization in the Mexican market.
  • Coordinate the importation of product samples for registration and amendment purposes.
  • Work closely with local consultants and trade association (CONAFAB) to ensure continued market access.

What You'll Need To Be Successful In This Role

  • Bachelors degree in Veterinary, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry or equivalent preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required. Fluency in Portuguese strongly preferred
  • Previous relevant experience as regulatory affairs in companies focused in animal nutrition and/or health. Preferred experience working with feed enzymes and probiotics.
  • Knowledge in Mexican and Central América legislation.
