Join our Engineering Department Central Europe as Project Manager Engineer, You will be responsible for managing CapEx investment projects at the Novonesis production site in the Czech Republic — covering all project phases from concept to commissioning and handover.

This role is located in Starovice, Czech Republic. We are expanding our project team to achieve future project demands. Hybrid role, office and homebased.

In This Role, You Will

• Plan, forecast, and control CapEx projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project status updates to the project owner/Steering Committee, including progress, budget, risks, mitigation actions, and decisions needed.
• Ensure the technical design and functional solutions meet project success criteria, Novonesis standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Occasionally support international projects (Germany, France, Denmark) with engineering tasks or other project management activities.
  
  

Your Main Tasks

• Lead CapEx projects from idea development through execution to closure, ensuring compliance with Novonesis policies, local legislation, and project governance.
• Manage and direct cross‑functional project teams, including internal stakeholders and external suppliers/contractors.
• Conduct stakeholder management to ensure alignment with project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Prepare and finalize all required project documentation, including engineering packages, procurement documents, technical evaluations, commissioning reports, and handover materials.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Should Have

• A BSc or MSc in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, electrical, or similar) with 2+ years of Capex Project experience.
• Proven experience in project management of CapEx investments, ideally within process equipment or industrial installations.
• Experience with contract management for supply, service, or consultancy agreements.
• Competence within one or more of the following areas:
• Production/processing systems
• Process or industrial design
• Qualification of Food/Pharma facilities
• Hygienic and aseptic design (incl. CIP/SIP)
• Strong communication skills in Czech and English.
• A proactive, hands‑on working style.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
