In This Role You Are Expected To

• Drive SEA Oils and Fats business growth by leading technical initiatives and serve as subject matter experts while closely engaging with customers in the Oils and Fats industry.
• Provide critical insights and uphold high scientific and technical standards in designing, analyzing, and communicating results from demonstrations and field trials to key stakeholders.
• Develop and optimize methods for testing existing and new products in the oils and fats industry.
• Design, execute, and analyze lab or plant trials of oils and fats products in collaboration with customers.
• Develop application process based on specific customers need, provide technical support for customer pitches and product promotions.
  
  

To Succeed You Must Hold

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical or engineering-related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in the oils and fats industry, with exposure to plant environments and excellent track record in operational efficiency.
• Expertise in biodiesel, oleochemical, specialty fats processes, particularly with palm/palm kernel and coconut oil feedstocks.
• Proficiency in handling lab or pilot-scale oil and fats equipment is beneficial.
• Highly skilled in designing, analyzing and scientifically communicating results based on lab and plant data.
• Proactive and enjoy collaborating across teams within and outside organizations.
• Experience working with enzymes is a strong advantage
