Job Description
Main tasks:
Assist in implementing Corporate EHS strategy at site level.
Promote a zero-injury safety culture, assist site in adhering to compliance requirements under EHS preview.
Assist in EHS data compilation, reporting and development of pollution control programs.
Manage the operations of wastewater treatment plant.
Carry out site EHS inspections and audits for continual improvement.
Other Tasks
Assist in EHS incident management tool and root cause investigations.
Impart EHS trainings to other departments.
Actively participate and lead as a member of site emergency team.
Evaluate safety requirements of new processes and equipment’s.
Maintain site level EHS documentation.
Carrying out appropriate levels of risk assessment at site level.
Key Stakeholders
Collaborate with other departments like Production, QC, Engineering, Projects, Facilities etc to
drive safety agenda and assist them EHS inputs to drive the site EHS KPI’s.
Assist during any customer, regulatory and 3rd party inspections or audits.
Industrial/technical background
The incumbent should have at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in EHS domain with
nutraceutical, pharmaceutical or specialty chemical industries.
Should have problem solving skills and good at stakeholder management.
Relevant Educational Backgrounds
MSc in Environmental Science / Degree in Environmental Engineering.
Degree / Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
Relevant Professional Skills
Experience in EHS management systems including ISO 14001, ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001.
Should be exposed to wastewater treatment plants operations (ETP and MEE) including ZLD.
Years Of Relevant Experience
5 – 10 years
Language Requirements And Proficiency Level
English, Hindi and Marathi (proficient).
Personal/behavioural Skills
Good team player, strong work ethics, good stake holder management.
