Main Tasks

Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of global HR Operations processes, ensuring global consistency while accommodating regional needs. This includes improving workflows, enhancing data quality, and supporting user centric process innovation (e.g., automation, AI).

Establish And Maintain Process Excellence & Quality Standards

Ensure adherence to the Novonesis OneMS quality system and internal standards for documentation, process excellence, and compliance across HR Operations processes.

Monitor Performance And Enable Data Driven Improvements

Track and analyze key KPIs (e.g., time to process completion, timeliness, data quality) and collaborate with People Analytics to identify trends and improvement opportunities, including automation.

Align HR Operations With Technology & Digital Enablement

Work with Technology teams to optimize process supporting platforms, ensure data integrity, and identify digital enablement opportunities to strengthen global HR Operations.

Other Tasks

  • Provide training materials and upskilling opportunities for P&O colleagues, managers, and employees.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and manage selected systems or AI enhancements connected to HR Operations processes (if established).
  • Support improvement of user experience across HR Operations processes by facilitating feedback loops and addressing pain points.
  • Contribute to updates of tools, guides, SOPs, and process documentation, including adaptations for local legislation.

Industrial/technical background

  • Experience in global HR Operations or large-scale global process driven organizations.
  • Strong background in process design, process optimization, and operational excellence within HR.
  • Experience with digital tools, process automation, system optimization, and/or AI related enablement in operational processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and influence stakeholders across global and regional structures.
  • Understanding of quality management systems, especially those involving process documentation, standards, or compliance (e.g., OneMS or similar systems).

Educational Backgrounds

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in HR, Business Administration, Process Management, Organizational Development, or related fields.
  • Alternatively, if no Master’s degree, extensive experience in HR operations/process ownership roles.

Relevant Professional Skills

  • Experience leading cross regional implementations and managing large-scale process improvement initiatives.

Years Of Relevant Experience

  • Likely 7–10+ years of experience in HR Operations, process ownership, operational excellence, or similar global/complex roles.

Language Requirements And Proficiency Level

  • English proficiency at fluent.
  • Personal/behavioral skills

Given the global scope and changing landscape of HR Operations, the role requires someone who embraces change, adapts quickly, remains pragmatic, and continuously adjusts plans based on feedback and evolving business needs.

Change Leadership

The individual must be able to guide regions through process changes, driving clear understanding and adoption while respecting local differences in Core Delivery. This includes strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.

Quality & Process Excellence Mindset

A strong eye for structure, consistency, and accuracy is essential. The person must be committed to maintaining high standards in process documentation, quality systems, and operational discipline.

This role is part of the People Tech Change Management Team in People & Organization. This team supports our organization in not only surviving through change, but learning to thrive in an ever-changing environment. This role is an addition to the Change Management team, and is routed with us, as focusing on HR operations and improvements is a global pathway and will be all about changes in the years to come.

The team is small, but is filled with energy, laughs and informal dialogues. We thrive when we support one another and appreciate the different competences and perspectives we all bring to a discussion.

Hybrid, but office first

Very minimal travel, although it might be expected once or twice a year.
