Summary
The Market Development Manager plays a key role in supporting Celvivo’s commercial growth through a combination of executive support, distributor management, and direct market development activities. This hybrid position ensures operational excellence while helping expand Celvivo’s presence in strategic international markets.
Working closely with the VP Commercial and the commercial team, the Market Development Manager is responsible for coordinating commercial operations, supporting distributor performance in India and driving early-stage business development initiatives across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). The role requires excellent organizational skills, strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, distributors and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Commercial Administration (30%)
- Prepare commercial documentation, reports, and business analytics.
- Maintain CRM, pipeline reporting, and commercial dashboards.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities, meetings, and commercial events.
Distributor Market Support (30%)
- Support distributors with commercial documentation, communications, and enablement.
- Maintain distributor resources and coordinate newsletters, webinars, and meetings.
- Support business development initiatives in strategic markets, including India and Centers of Excellence.
MEA Business Development (40%)
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities across the MEA region.
- Support KOL engagement, customer outreach, and partner development.
- Coordinate market entry activities and track pipeline and lead generation.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
· 3+ years of commercial experience in life sciences, biotech, or medical devices
· 2+ years experiences of international market development, ideally with relevance to the MEA region
· Experience working in scale-up or high-growth environments highly desirable
· Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders across concurrent workstreams
· High attention to detail, particularly when preparing commercial documents
· Familiarity with 3D cell culture, organoids, or related life sciences tools is an advantage
· Self-starter, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment
· Willingness to travel
· Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-cultural skills in English and an additional language
