Blackbird ApS
Factbird is on a mission to help manufacturers optimize their operations.
We’re a fast-growing SaaS scale-up, and we’re seeking a seasoned Event Marketing Manager to join our Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team. If you’re an experienced professional who is passionate about crafting engaging event experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
As our Event Marketing Manager in the US, you’ll be responsible for leading the planning and execution of a wide range of impactful events, from large-scale summits and trade shows to exclusive executive gatherings and partner-led engagements. You’ll bring your expertise to elevate Factbird’s brand, enhance customer engagement, and drive business growth in key markets.
Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You’ll work closely with our global Marketing and Communications team based in Copenhagen to align US event strategies with overall company goals, while managing event execution with precision and creativity. This role will also involve general marketing tasks to support cross-regional initiatives. The ideal candidate will be excited to travel as needed, both nationally and internationally, bringing their energy and expertise wherever Factbird’s presence needs to shine.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic Event Planning: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of events, from high-impact Summits and Trade Shows to own planned and hosted events to the more intimate VIP gatherings.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of manufacturing industry dynamics and key personas (c-suite, VPs of manufacturing, plant managers) to create resonant, targeted event experiences.
- Collaboration & Communication: Partner with our HQ MarCom team in Copenhagen to ensure alignment on messaging, branding, and strategic goals. Facilitate cross-functional teamwork across sales, product, and customer success teams.
- Integrated Marketing Support: Contribute to general marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and customer engagement across all channels.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to attend, plan and execute events and visit customer sites as needed.
Qualifications and skills:
- Experience: Proven track record of successful event planning and execution across a range of formats, including large Summits, Trade Shows, Roadshows, and exclusive executive events. Experience within the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Persona Understanding: Deep knowledge of key personas, such as c-suite executives, VPs of manufacturing, and plant managers, and the ability to create events that speak directly to their needs and challenges.
- Collaboration: A team player who thrives in collaborative environments, with the ability to work closely with international colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality events.
- Adaptability & Drive: Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment, capable of managing multiple projects with precision.
- Communication & Storytelling: Strong communication skills and a passion for storytelling that aligns with Factbird’s vision to help manufacturers succeed.
- Travel Flexibility: Willing and able to travel as part of the role.
