Astrolight is on a mission to connect space and Earth using laser communication. We are looking for a hands-on Financial Manager to help us build and strengthen our finance function as we grow. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and accounting, taking ownership of financial planning, reporting, and analysis while helping improve our finance processes. • Own the company's financial operations, ensuring efficient, scalable and well-controlled finance processes
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and cash flow management
• Prepare monthly management reports and provide financial insights to support business decisions
• Monitor company performance through financial analysis, KPI reporting, and scenario modelling
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing together with the accounting function
• Review financial statements and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Coordinate financial reporting for subsidiaries in the US and Denmark
• Continuously improve financial reporting, internal controls, and operational efficiency as the company grows
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners
• Partner closely with the CEO on fundraising, financial planning, and other strategic finance initiatives
• In the future - drive the implementation of a new in-house accounting/ERP system and optimize finance processes through automation

• 3+ years of experience in finance, controlling or financial management
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Good understanding of accounting principles and Lithuanian financial reporting requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn financial data into business insights
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills
• Hands-on mindset with a willingness to work across both strategic and operational finance
• Experience improving finance processes in a growing business
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English

• Experience in startups, scale-ups, manufacturing, or technology companies
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Experience implementing ERP systems
• Experience supporting fundraising, investor reporting, or board reporting
• Experience managing multi-entity financial reporting
