We build systems that make it possible to send data quickly and securely between satellites, ships, and ground stations, especially in places where traditional radio communication does not work. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations as we bring finance in-house. This is an opportunity to join a growing startup where you'll play a key role in building strong financial foundations while improving processes as the business scales. What you'll do- Take over bookkeeping from the external accounting service provider and transition accounting in-house
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities (payroll remains outsourced)
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare statutory financial statements, VAT returns, and other regulatory reports
- Ensure compliance with Lithuanian accounting and tax regulations
- Coordinate accounting information from subsidiaries in the US and Denmark (limited activity)
- Support external audits and collaborate with auditors and tax advisors
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
- Improve accounting processes and internal controls as the company grows
- Participate in ERP implementation and finance process automation
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Lithuanian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting
- Ability to independently prepare accurate financial statements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Hands-on, proactive approach with a willingness to improve existing processes
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
- Fluent in Lithuanian and English
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or technology companies
- Experience in startups or scale-ups
- Experience supporting external audits
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Experience implementing or working with ERP systems
