Astrolight is on a mission to connect space and Earth using laser communication. We build systems that make it possible to send data quickly and securely between satellites, ships, and ground stations, especially in places where traditional radio communication does not work. We are looking for a proactive and organized Procurement Specialist to help ensure our engineering and production teams have the materials they need to build laser communication systems that are shaping the future of connectivity. In this role, you will manage purchasing activities, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain accurate procurement data while contributing to the continuous improvement of our supply chain processes. This is a hands-on position with real ownership and an opportunity to grow alongside a fast-moving space technology company.

• Purchase materials and components based on approved procurement requests
• Track purchase orders from placement through delivery
• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, availability, and order status
• Help with the implementation of the ERP system
• Maintain accurate product and procurement data in the ERP system (as it is implemented)
• Support inventory organization and maintain procurement-related documentation
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure timely material availability
• Help improve procurement processes as the company scales

• Fluent in English (B2 or higher)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Responsible, proactive, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
• Educational background or knowledge in engineering, physics, electronics, or other STEM fields
• Experience working with ERP systems
