Astrolight is on a mission to connect space and Earth using laser communication. We build systems that make it possible to send data quickly and securely between satellites, ships, and ground stations, especially in places where traditional radio communication does not work. Our technology supports both commercial and defense missions and is designed to perform reliably in real-world conditions. We are a fast-growing, fast-moving team focussed to bring fiber-like connectivity to space and beyond.
We are looking for an Admin Lead to take ownership of internal operations and help the company run at a high level of efficiency. This role goes beyond traditional executive support - you will build structure, improve workflows, and connect different parts of the organization. You will work closely with the CEO and the rest of admin team, creating clarity, synchronization, and scalable processes as the company grows.
What you’ll do:
- Own and improve day-to-day company administrative operations
- Own and coordinate with legal counsel all governance processes (board meetings, agendas, minutes, resolutions, and follow-ups) to ensure compliance and transparency
- Lead preparation and organization of investor due diligence materials (data rooms, document requests, audit trails)
- Track key compliance and corporate deadlines (filings, permits, renewals, board approvals) and ensure nothing slips
- Build and implement administrative workflows, tools, and automations to increase efficiency and clarity
- Maintain and organize company documentation, agreements, and internal systems
- Manage streamlined onboarding (contracts, basic policies, tools access, clear first-week plan) so new hires become productive quickly
- Support compensation and equity administration (offer letters, option grants, documentation)
- Maintain a minimal but clear set of internal policies
- Coordinate offboarding (knowledge transfer, access removal, documentation)
- Manage incoming and outgoing formal communication where needed
- Act as primary liaison between founders, legal counsel, and investors on compliance and governance matters
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to gather accurate, timely information for audits and investor reporting
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in administration, operations, compliance, executive support, or similar roles
- Experience in startups or fast-growing companies
- Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritise
- Ability to build structure in a fast-changing, unstructured environment
- Proactive, solution-driven mindset
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working closely with leadership under tight deadlines
- Ability to responsively handle sensitive information
- Fluent in English and Lithuanian
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with HR processes and documentation
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and productivity tools
- Interest in automation tools and process improvement

Salary
