Senior Accountant

We are looking for a proactive, business-minded Senior Accountant who goes beyond closing the books. In this role, you will own core accounting operations while actively shaping financial forecasting, reporting and improvement initiatives across the company. You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team, helping to turn financial data into actionable insights. This is a hands-on role with real ownership and much room to grow and lead.
What you’ll do:
- Take over bookkeeping from the external service provider (move accounting in-house)
- Carry out all accounting and bookkeeping activities (payroll remains outsourced)
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) and other statutory reports
- Coordinate financial data collection and reporting for subsidiaries in the US and Denmark (limited activity and scope)
- Support development of forecasts, budgets, and ad-hoc managerial reporting
- Improve accounting and finance processes as the company grows
- Contribute to implementation of a new ERP system to automate routine tasks
- Work closely with the CEO and administrative team on finance-related topics
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance (experience in production or manufacturing is a plus)
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian tax regulations and statutory reporting
- Ability to independently prepare accurate financial statements
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Proactive mindset with willingness to take ownership and improve processes
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in Lithuanian and English
Nice to have
- Experience in startups, scale-ups, or technology companies
- Experience supporting audits and working with external accountants or auditors
- Good knowledge of IFRS

Salary
- From €3,000 gross, depending on experience and skills
