About the Role

As we are now taking the next major step: launching our own virtual card and expanding Anyday from a checkout solution into a broader payment experience.

We are looking for a Card Program Lead who can own and drive the build-out of our card issuing setup end-to-end — from partner structure and scheme requirements to product logic and go-live. This is not a traditional product role. It is an operator role with responsibility for a full card program.

You will have end-to-end responsibility for designing (with our UX-team), establishing, and launching Anyday’s card program in close collaboration with Product, Tech, Risk, Compliance, and Finance.

In this Role, You will:

• Owning relationships with issuer, processor, and other issuing partners
• Driving scheme-related workstreams with Visa/Mastercard through our partners
• Defining and implementing authorization and funding logic aligned with our BNPL model
• Ensuring correct setup of tokenization, wallet provisioning (Apple Pay / Google Pay), and card lifecycle events
• Working closely with Risk & Compliance on fraud controls, disputes, and scheme requirements
• Translating complex card flows into clear product and technical requirements
• Leading the program from structure and scoping through to the first live transaction

About You:

• Has hands-on experience launching or scaling a card issuing program
• Has worked closely with one or more issuing platforms such as Wallester, Marqeta, Enfuce, Stripe Issuing, Adyen Issuing, or similar
• Understands scheme rules, authorization flows, and real-time decisioning
• Has experience with wallet provisioning and tokenized cardsIs comfortable working across Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and FinanceThrives in environments with external partners and complex dependencies
• Can take ownership of a business-critical area and drive it forward independently
• Experience with credit products, BNPL, or lending on top of card rails is a strong advantage, but not a requirement.
