This role will be based in Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, Mountain View or Sunnyvale.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
The LinkedIn Brand Strategy and Management team is seeking a Senior Brand Strategist to join our team as we look to evolve and scale our brand identity to drive effective marketing and business growth. The company is at an inflection point and this role will play a crucial role as we usher in the next era of LinkedIn. The ideal person for this role is equal parts strategist and doer with a passion for design and how it tells the story of a brand and drives resonance with its audience through brand identity.
Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications
The pay range for this role is $121,000 - $188,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Brand Strategy, Expression Lead in evolving and maintaining LinkedIn’s brand identity, scaling it across consumer and enterprise ecosystems, and driving internal adoption to foster a brand centric-culture within the organization. Accountable for ensuring that the brand identity delivers on key audience and business needs, and measuring success.
- Partner with internal and external creative partners to develop the brand identity.
- Collaborate with partners beyond marketing to ensure the brand identity scales to key touchpoints including product.
- Collaborate with researchers to understand impact on consumer perception.
- Uncover insights to ensure brand identity delivers brand perceptions, is ownable and distinct. Includes conducting primary, secondary and trend research and partnering with research teams to understand brand perceptions and providing clear, actionable implications and recommendations for brand identity.
- Drive sell through for brand identity evolutions, including strategy, tools, and processes, by building narratives grounded in business and marketing objectives.
- Manage internal and external agencies in creating brand identity strategies, elements, tools, templates, and processes.
- Own end to end project management, including defining scope, steps, and stakeholders.
- Own new and existing tools and processes, including guidelines, digital tools (e.g. internal brand website). Proactively recommend and execute improvements to drive consistent, effective marketing across surfaces.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years marketing experience in corporate brand strategy, brand management, or similar disciplines
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Experience defining and building brand identity toolkits and scaling them across large, matrixed, global brands across surfaces and channels.
- Fluent in Brand Strategy (e.g. positioning, architecture), to be able to advocate for existing and support creation of new foundations.
- Experience maintaining, updating and communicating brand standards to marketers, designers.
- Strong analytical skills to inform strategies and measure impact.
- Proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to make recommendations, not just execute.
- Ability to quickly develop working relationships and provide guidance to partners.
- Clear written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
